At Schvitz Detroit, you can expect a safe, desexualized space where relaxation and mindfulness are prioritized. Our goal is to provide a calm and welcoming environment for all guests to enjoy. As you move through the saunas, showers, and other facilities, please be respectful of others’ personal space and maintain a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Our space is designed for you to unwind, recharge, and enjoy your time, all while being mindful of those around you. We look forward to providing you with a relaxing and rejuvenating experience at Schvitz Detroit.

FAQs

How hot are the saunas? Our saunas are heated to an intense 180-200°F, providing the ultimate detoxifying and rejuvenating experience.

What’s included with the $40 admission? Your admission grants full access to all of our facilities, including both saunas, showers, the pool, common areas, and the outdoor patio. A set of towels is also provided for your convenience.

What should I bring? Bathing suits are required during all-gender hours to fully enjoy the facilities. You’ll also want to bring:

  • A robe (available for rent at $5, limited supply).
  • Water shoes or shower shoes (sandals available for purchase at $10).
  • A lock for your locker (locks available for purchase at $10).
  • Bottled water to stay hydrated.

Where do I park? We encourage guests to park in one of the two parking lots near the building. If the lots are full, street parking is available nearby.

Do you still have Couples Nights? No, we no longer offer Couples Nights.

Is this a swingers club? No, Schvitz Detroit is not a swingers club. We are a desexualized space, offering a safe and relaxing wellness experience for all guests.

Do I need to reserve ahead of time for a day pass? We are walk-ins only—no reservations needed for a day pass!

How can I book a private party? Saturday evenings are reserved for private parties after 6:00 p.m. To book, please contact us at reserve@schvitzdetroit.com.

How do I book a service? Our practitioners and services are independent of The Schvitz. You can book services in person or reach out through Instagram.

Can I bring outside food? Unfortunately, no outside food is allowed at Schvitz Detroit. However, we have a house kitchen that is open 7 days a week for your convenience.

Are there memberships? We currently do not offer memberships.

Do you have a hot tub? We do not have a hot tub at this time.
